What age groups do you cater to?

I accept students of all ages, from children to adults. My personalized approach ensures that each student receives tailored instruction based on their individual needs and goals, regardless of the skill level they are starting at. 

Do you offer online lessons?

Yes! I offer online lessons for students who prefer to learn from the comfort of their own home, providing the same level of quality instruction as in-person sessions.

What is your teaching philosophy?

In my studio, I am fully dedicated to my students, being intentional with my instruction and encouragement. By being attentive and understanding, I hope to ensure that my students work at the pace that best suits them. To this end, I treat every single student as their own individual person deserving of their own personalized teaching style and approach.

About Kyel Nesitt

With performances that have been described as “an amazing experience for everyone,” Kyel Nesitt earned his bachelor’s degree in Flute Performance at Central Washington University and his master’s degree in Flute Performance at Middle Tennessee State University. Growing up, he studied piano and composition as well as flute, and competed in all three areas, earning recognition at the district and state level in Washington state, as well as national recognition for his compositions. He has taught regularly over the past decade, headlining summer camps, speaking at festivals, and teaching Master Classes. In addition to teaching, he performs frequently, both in ensembles and as a soloist. He currently resides in Murfreesboro, TN
